Reading List – February 2020

Running list of books I’ve completed reading in February 2020. Second time I’m trying to document this… so we’ll see if this sticks or not.

My process is to have two books going at any given time. A book I can use to really learn from with ideas/strategies that I can put into practice. That one I read in the morning to get my brain moving and thinking. Then another book I read in the evening just to enjoy and wind down at the end of the day.

I generally take notes as I read in the morning. So if  I feel more ambitious,  I’ll add some notes here and there that I find valuable.

Morning Books

The Messy Middle by Scott Belsky: I took a ton of notes from this one. Especially from the middle sections, very appropriate. Definitely a valuable read for product folks, startup founders, or anyone working on building something new with a small-ish team.

Evening Books

The Godfather by Mario Puzo: I’ve watched the movie version a bunch of times and consider it one of my favorites. Never read the book until now. Definitely a fun read.
